Why do you get vaccinated for influenza?
To protect myself, my family and my co-workers

Why do you think it is important for people in your line of work to get vaccinated?
It is important to be vaccinated so that I hopefully do not get sick from the illness and can continue to work.

Why is it important for health care workers to get vaccinated for influenza each year?
Healthcare workers are there to care for sick/injured people. Patient care and patient safety are key elements of their profession. They need to be vaccinated so that they protect themselves, their families and their patients. If they are ill, then they should not be at work which is a domino effect that can lead to a temporary shortage of healthcare worker to provide patient care.

Do you think it safe to get influenza vaccine?
